Congrats Mrs. G!
Every year the Oakland county school picks a teacher that has gone above and beyond throughout the year to help others. This year Amy Guzynski, an English teacher from Lamphere High School, has been chosen as the teacher of the year for her outstanding commitment to her work.
Many of her students have said, “She is someone who is completely devoted to her students”
Amy is someone who does not take education lightly; she takes the time help each and every student, so that they have the power to become anything that they want to be. Often times you will find her after school helping students in need. Her motto for her students is to always dig deeper in life.
Mother of 4 kids, Mrs. Guzynski is not only a teacher, but she is the Co-President of SADD, PACT, and Yearbook Clubs. While balancing all these tasks she has continued to have an impact on Lamphere students.
We are proud and happy to have such a remarkable teacher at Lamphere.
A banquet will be held in her honor on May 10th where she will receive a $2,000 dollar check.
Keep up the good work!
