About Us

The Madison Heights Community Coalition (MHCC) was founded October 1, 2016. MHCC is a new coalition in Madison Heights formed to prevent substance abuse in our community with a focus on our youth. The Coalition is comprised of citizens and business people within the community, law enforcement agents, city government officials, State representatives, educational professionals, health and social service organizations, and high school students. Our goal is to be a prevention resource in the community, provide local youth data, and thereby reduce substance abuse in our community.

The Madison Heights Community Coalition is part of the Alliance of Coalitions for Healthy Communities (ACHC) which is a network of 18 community coalitions within Oakland County. Through this partnership we are able to share ideas, mentor one another, and help maximize our efforts in our own communities.

At the center of our Coalition is our Youth Action Team.  Students from different school districts come together direct and promote MHCC. With the hard work and vision of these students, the Madison Heights Community Coalition will continue to be an agent of change in our community.
